If i put vinegar in my hair, will it take away my highlights?

I need to do a treatment where I put warm watered down vinegar on my scalp and hair for 1 hour. I had blonde highlights put through my hair a month ago. Will this treatment wash them away or not? Thanks so much to the answers!! :) xxxxxx
