College Freshman Problem?

In my opinion it is a totally absurd thing to take a young man or woman, who has been institutionalized for 13 years (kindergarten adn 12 years of school), remove them from that environment and say "Hey Kiddo... what are you going to do with the rest of your life?". Your parents would no doubt be upset at the advice I'm going to give you: drop out. Go get some experience in life and then in 4-6 years you'll be ready and willing to go back to school. In the mean time... go walkabout... follow your favorite band... enlist in the military for 2 years. I'm not saying you should sit on your backside... go do something.. but it doesn't have to be college... especially if you don't really know what you want to do.
