Architecture vs. Film & Theatre...?

im currently an architecture student going into my 3rd year, but have always wanted to do film and work in the film industry (yet im not currently studying it for various reasons). Can i easily get into the film industry with an architecture degree, for jobs like set design or even directing? otherwise i think i should transfer which could mean that i just wasted the last 2 years and all the money i spent on college :S PLZ i need any advice!!
